Global Renewables is aware of the importance of community support in order to successfully establish UR-3R™ Facilities.

The Lancashire Waste PFI Project involves fifteen local authorities in Lancashire, which together have developed A Greener Strategy for a Greener Future, underpinned by the Lancashire PFI Project. The strategy provides the context for the delivery of both waste disposal and collection services and the implementation of national and European waste minimisation, recycling and landfill reduction directives.

Also in the United Kingdom, as part of the 25 year PFI contract for the Lancashire Waste PFI Partnership Project, Global Renewables has employed ten specialists in waste education and minimisation, who will undertake outreach activities in schools and the wider community to ensure Lancashire’s recycling targets are met.
